About Us

Hospitality is at our core

We’re a team of food lovers

The Honingham Buck is a 17th century inn set in the heart of the picturesque village of Honingham.

A traditional beamed bar greets you, with a cosy snug, ideal for a small gathering. Moving through the pub there is an informal but elegant restaurant. Nestled in the old coach house are 8 beautifully converted bedrooms. Outside is one of the prettiest pub gardens in the county, overlooked by a covered dining terrace.

Our menu offers pub classics alongside fusions from around the world. Put together by our extremely talented kitchen team, lead by our head chef, David Lovett. We offer a stunning range of local beers from our Brewery partner, Lacons. You can find them situated 25 miles away on the Norfolk coastline in Great Yarmouth.

Old school hospitality is our core value. All we want you to do is pull up, walk in and relax. We will do everything else.

We stayed here for a few nights and it was absolutely lovely – and the staff are amazing. Although we didn’t make it for a meal, as it’s very popular and you need to book, breakfast was included with the room and it was delicious! Will definitely come back next time we’re in Norfolk.

Great dog friendly pub. Popped in today on way home with both dogs and had a warm welcome and a table in the bar area. Dogs had a big bowl of water brought over for them. We had the rib-eye steak, Cromer crab and the pineapple parfait desert. All were cooked to perfection and really tasty. Nice time was had by all would come again if weren’t heading home soon.

Excellent food, excellent staff and excellent ambiance. What an amazing meal we had. The service was spot on, checked we were ok and that everything was good, but not over the top. We live outside the area, so we took a chance. We had the crumble for after and it’s definitely the best crumble I have had.
