We’re dog (and all pets) friendly!

Our stunning beer garden comes to life in the summer. Pretty borders, shady trees and a classic Boules court combine to create the perfect spot to enjoy a sunny Norfolk day. All of this is overlooked by a lovely, covered dining terrace. If you fancy an outdoor pint or a simple sunlit dining experience look no further. And of course, all woofers are welcome.

We stayed here for a few nights and it was absolutely lovely – and the staff are amazing. Although we didn’t make it for a meal, as it’s very popular and you need to book, breakfast was included with the room and it was delicious! Will definitely come back next time we’re in Norfolk.

Great dog friendly pub. Popped in today on way home with both dogs and had a warm welcome and a table in the bar area. Dogs had a big bowl of water brought over for them. We had the rib-eye steak, Cromer crab and the pineapple parfait desert. All were cooked to perfection and really tasty. Nice time was had by all would come again if weren’t heading home soon.

Excellent food, excellent staff and excellent ambiance. What an amazing meal we had. The service was spot on, checked we were ok and that everything was good, but not over the top. We live outside the area, so we took a chance. We had the crumble for after and it’s definitely the best crumble I have had.
