A proper Sunday Roast

At The Honingham Buck, food is at the heart of what we do. Set just outside Norwich in the picturesque village of Honingham, our pub offers the perfect setting for a traditional Sunday lunch in Norfolk.

Expect quality ingredients, generous portions and a welcoming atmosphere, whether you choose to dine in our stylish restaurant, settle into the beamed bar area or enjoy the terrace on a brighter day. Dogs are welcome in the bar and beer garden too, so Sunday can stay relaxed for everyone.

Our Sunday Menu

Our Sunday menu combines classic roast dinners with a selection of seasonal starters, pub favourites and homemade desserts. Choose from roasted sirloin of beef, leg of lamb, chicken supreme or our vegetarian roast option, all served with traditional trimmings and rich red wine gravy.

If you're looking for something different, you'll also find dishes such as dressed Cromer crab, The Buck beef burger and Lacon's beer battered fish fingers, alongside a tempting choice of desserts and local cheeses.

Excellent food, excellent staff and excellent ambiance. What an amazing meal we had. The service was spot on, checked we were ok and that everything was good, but not over the top. We live outside the area, so we took a chance. We had the crumble for after and it's definitely the best crumble I have had.

Great dog friendly pub. Popped in today on way home with both dogs and had a warm welcome and a table in the bar area. Dogs had a big bowl of water brought over for them. We had the rib-eye steak, Cromer crab and the pineapple parfait desert. All were cooked to perfection and really tasty. Nice time was had by all would come again if weren’t heading home soon.

We stayed here for a few nights and it was absolutely lovely - and the staff are amazing. Although we didn't make it for a meal, as it's very popular and you need to book, breakfast was included with the room and it was delicious! Will definitely come back next time we're in Norfolk.
