Stay up to date with all things The Honingham Buck!

The Honingham Buck has been a pub & inn since the 1600’s. Formerly known as Ye Olde Buck, it was first called the Bell before it was renamed in the late 1700s after John Buck, the innkeeper mentioned in Parson Woodforde’s diaries. It sits in the heart of the village and was reopened in 2015 after a major restoration. The award-winning Buck boasts a flagstone floored bar, cosy snug, inviting restaurant, picturesque beer garden & eight stunning bedrooms in the old converted stable block. Ideally situated close to the fine city of Norwich and within easy striking distance of the beautiful North Norfolk coast. It is within easy reach of world class beaches and the natural beauty of the Norfolk broads. It is the perfect base from which you can enjoy all that Norfolk has to offer, whether it be for work or pleasure. The buck has a fantastic network of local suppliers and produces to draw from and at the heart of these is the partnership with award winning local brewers, Lacons. With fantastic local ales, the very best in locally sourced food and wines to match it is simply a wonderful place to just stop the clock and travel back in time to a world of old-fashioned hospitality, where time slows to a more relaxing pace……

Excellent food, excellent staff and excellent ambiance. What an amazing meal we had. The service was spot on, checked we were ok and that everything was good, but not over the top. We live outside the area, so we took a chance. We had the crumble for after and it’s definitely the best crumble I have had.

Great dog friendly pub. Popped in today on way home with both dogs and had a warm welcome and a table in the bar area. Dogs had a big bowl of water brought over for them. We had the rib-eye steak, Cromer crab and the pineapple parfait desert. All were cooked to perfection and really tasty. Nice time was had by all would come again if weren’t heading home soon.

We stayed here for a few nights and it was absolutely lovely – and the staff are amazing. Although we didn’t make it for a meal, as it’s very popular and you need to book, breakfast was included with the room and it was delicious! Will definitely come back next time we’re in Norfolk.
